Remote Sensing Factor Selection Based on Correlation To form an a priori understanding of spectral response to yield changes, we compared the VI curves of the sample units with yield gradients difference. The VI time series curves of sample units are shown in Figure 4. We found that valid recognizing time, except for MIBRI, occurred in the middle or late growth period which is in accord with the corn weathering pattern. The recognition time of different VIs has different validity.

Abstract : The spatial distribution of cotton fields is primary information for national farm management, the agricultural economy and the textile industry. Therefore, accurate cotton information at the regional scale is required with a rapid increase due to the chance provided by the huge amounts of satellite images accumulated in recent decades.

Abstract : Floral phenology as a special indicator of climate change and vegetation dynamics is drawing more attention. The long-term observations of flowering events collected at scattered ground sites have accumulated valuable priority on the understanding of floral phenology, but with insufficient investigation on the spatio-temporal dynamics at regional scale, which is mainly induced by the lack of effective ways to capture the pixel-based flower events from remote sensing images.
