Abstract X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry is increasingly used in botanical drug research for rapid, nondestructive, multi-elemental analysis. This systematic review examines the principles and applications of major XRF techniques—including energy-dispersive XRF (EDXRF), wavelength-dispersive XRF (WDXRF), total reflection XRF (TXRF), synchrotron radiation XRF (SR-XRF), and portable XRF (pXRF)—in medicinal plant analysis.

Abstract From the perspective of prospect theory, this study employs a discrete choice experiment (DCE) analyzed with mixed logit models to examine how housing affordability prospects influence youth’s residential decisions. The DCE was conducted with undergraduate students from local universities in Shanghai through hypothetical scenario-based choice tasks simulating housing market entry decisions.
