Hoobastank has broken an eight-year silence with "How Do You Sleep?", their first new original song since the 2018 album "Push Pull." The single was produced by Howard Benson, who worked with the band on their early records and says he was so struck by the new material that he booked studio time on the spot. Frontman Doug Robb said the new track felt like a creative pressure valve finally being released.

Jack White is taking his usual “stealth” approach to announcing a new album, quietly putting "Frozen Charlotte" up for vinyl pre-order on his Third Man Records webstore with no press release or formal announcement, and there’s not a long wait for it, either; the 13-track follow-up to his acclaimed 2024 album "No Name" is scheduled to ship July 10th.

Theory of a Deadman has announced "Part 1: Funeral Songs," a six-track EP due September 4 via ONErpm, and released the lead single "Winnebago (Lay Low)" along with a music video. Frontman Tyler Connolly described the track as "the epitome of the anti-bar song" and said the band plans to follow it with a Part 2, treating the release strategy like "small batches of fine Kentucky Bourbon." The EP also includes the previously released single "Barricade" and four new tracks.
