Cortney Danielle Moore’s Biography

Cortney Danielle Moore is an alumna of Hofstra University, where she studied journalism and fine arts. Aside from her love of the arts, Cortney also has a degree in Multimedia Programming Design from the Borough of Manhattan Community College. With her knowledge in both these areas, Cortney Danielle hopes to combine them in what is now the converging field of journalism.

Cortney’s passion for journalism began in her senior year of high school. As a student in The High School of Fashion Industries, Cortney admired the likes of Jeannie Mai and Giuliana Rancic.

Upon graduation in 2012, Cortney made it a point to change her course of study from fashion design to communication. Unfortunately, Cortney was unable to attend her university of choice and had to modify her plans. It was then that she applied to a community college that lacked a journalism program. Instead of letting that get her down, Cortney chose a major that would teach her how to create websites and edit videos, rather than rely on someone else to do it for her. Cortney eventually fell in love with programming and design; and later merged her technical education with journalism once she transferred schools.

Now that Cortney is done with her undergrad degree, she has made a name for herself in the workforce as a digital journalist. She is currently working as a Writer/Producer at Fox News Digital.
