Man who caused deadly 3-car crash while racing in Fayetteville sentenced to one year probation

A man has been sentenced to one year of probation after he caused a deadly crash while racing in Fayetteville in December 2022. The crash happened at 11:07 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2022, when 27-year-old Johnnie Keheir Giddens was racing on Skibo Road and Morganton Road in Fayetteville. After Roberts ran a red light, the three cars collided and one caught fire in the parking lot of the BP gas station at 1899 Skibo Road.
