I Love People , a new album for Cory Hanson

|
By Cory Hanson
| Concert Monkey
With a room fulla fine pickers and a set of Hollywood orchestral cues to kill for, Cory Hanson proclaims I Love People! His 4th solo album drills down (baby) on a dryly parallax worldview, with songs about all those people he loves and all the crazy things they get up to. As ringmaster for a circus show of classic folk and rock tropes, Cory tugs at our heartstrings with expert misdirection, embracing tradition by throwing it out, into the wind.

Cory Hanson "Western Cum"

|
By Cory Hanson
| Concert Monkey
NEWS - Cory Hanson "Western Cum" Cory Hanson’s third solo LP follows up on 2020’s luminescent ‘Pale Horse Rider’, upping the heat to molten levels, six strings at a time. In search of further adventures, Cory draws with vampiric glee from the madness coursing through the world outside; a spiraling shitshow that’s reawakened a compulsion in him—an old ambition, even!—to crush brutality and elegance together into a fresh set of rocks to hail down upon us.

Pale Horse Rider, by Cory Hanson

Magical arrangements. Definitively a must-have.
