His days are richly woven with hobbies, family engagements, and active community participation, illustrating a fulfilling transition from his professional career to a leisurely yet meaningful retirement lifestyle.

Photography has been of significant interest to Craig, mainly sparked by his travels throughout the Southeastern U.S. and to the Hawaiian Islands. With his iPhone as his constant companion, he has captured the beauty of various landscapes and moments. From the rolling hills of Northern Georgia to the tranquil beaches of Hilton Head Island and the charming ambiance of small Southeastern towns, each photograph he takes is a testament to his ability to see and capture the world in unique frames. His most cherished photographs include sunsets over Kauai, daily interactions with his wife Cindy on the beaches of Maui, and the spectacular views from various renowned spots in Hawaii.

Beyond his photographic endeavors, Craig is an avid golfer and billiard player. He frequents the golf courses in the Atlanta suburbs, where he enjoys the game's social aspects more than the competitive elements, given his self-professed modest golfing skills. Billiards also occupies a significant place in his weekly schedule. He engages in friendly competitions during the 8-ball tournaments at his community clubhouse, fostering friendships and community ties.

Family is central to Craig Spiesman's life. He and Cindy made a conscious decision to move closer to her family in Georgia, which allows them to spend substantial time with relatives, including four generations living nearby. Their regular Sunday lunches at the home of Cindy's cousin are moments of joy and connectivity, filled with good food and great stories, reinforcing the strong family bonds he deeply values.

His spiritual life is nourished weekly at Southside Church, where he and Cindy find guidance and community support. The sermons they attend inspire them and give them a deeper understanding, enabling them to face life's challenges with resilience and hope.

Craig's active participation in his local community is evident through his involvement in the men's club, where he helps neighbors with home maintenance and participates in community service projects. This reflects the spirit of mutual assistance and engagement that characterizes the Cresswind Twin Lakes community.

Since retiring, pickleball has become another of Craig's passions. After discovering the sport at his community courts, he quickly grew fond of its fast-paced nature and the camaraderie it fosters among players. It has become a significant part of his social and physical activity routine.

He and Cindy also continue to explore Georgia, enjoying its beautiful landscapes and local delicacies, such as peach cobbler from roadside diners. These explorations are not just leisure activities but enriching experiences that add depth and pleasure to their lives.

In retirement, Craig Spiesman has crafted a life that reflects his passions and values—a blend of quiet moments with loved ones, active community involvement, and the pursuit of hobbies that bring joy and fulfillment.
