Painesville Township is moving forward yet again with plans to return to normalcy for residents this summer. Last week’s Saint Patrick’s Day parade was just the beginning of the township's intention to return to normalcy and to follow CDC guidelines which are loosening the restrictions on social traditions and celebrations.

Over 6,000 pounds of fresh food and produce were distributed March 16 at Miracle Revival Ministry in Painesville, the church's tradition that is coming back and expanding. Johnson Funeral Home is one step closer to adding on-site crematory services at 368 Mentor Ave. in Painesville. Painesville Planning Commission at a recent meeting approved modifications to the Unified Development Code that would allow for conditional use on the property. The new language will be forwarded to City Council for review in determining the distance that a crematory facility should be set back from the property line of any single-family residential use.
