The Goodwill at 965 Commonwealth Ave. on Boston University’s West Campus temporarily closed Nov. 6 for renovations, with plans to reopen in late December. The store is in the process of rebranding its Boston locations — and the store on Commonwealth Avenue is the most recent of these projects, James Harder, director of communications and public affairs for Goodwill, wrote in an email to The Daily Free Press.

The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department’s crime logs from Oct. 18-23. Intoxicated person at 512 Beacon St. At 3:38 a.m. Oct. 19, an intoxicated person was reported at Danielsen Hall. Deface property at 725 Commonwealth Ave. At 12:41 p.m Oct. 20, tagging was reported in a College of Arts and Sciences bathroom. Harassment reported at 33 Harry Agganis Way At 3:57 p.m. Oct. 20, harassing calls and emails were reported at Student Village II.

Boston University dropped one spot in the annual U.S. News & World Report ranking of Best National University, moving from No. 41 to 42. It also ranked as the most liberal college in Massachusetts and the eighth most liberal college nationally on Niche. The National University ranking, released Sept. 23, placed BU in a four-way tie with Rutgers University in New Brunswick, the University of Maryland, College Park and the University of Washington.
