On Saturday, June 13, the first of seven games will be played at Boston Stadium (aka Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA) when Haiti plays Scotland at 9 p.m. in a Group C group game. (You can last-minute tickets here). Both teams are longshots to win the tournament, but will try to advance in a group that includes Brazil and Morrocco.

Three South Shore high school teams have punched their tickets to state championships. BC High and Milton boys rugby will meet in the Division 1 state final at Veterans Stadium in Quincy (date TBD). The Weymouth girls also clinched a spot there.

May 27, 2026, 8:02 a.m. ET The MIAA high school spring state tournaments are underway. The first brackets to be revealed were high school girls lacrosse and boys and girls tennis on Friday, May 22. Boys/girls rugby and boys volleyball were announced on Tuesday, May 26. Scituate (Division 3) and Norwell (Div. 4) are defending state champions. The Clippers are now in Div. 3, so those teams could meet late in the state tournament. Cohasset and BC High came up just short in state championships last fall.
