What was your first job as a journalist?

Worked at a local radio station during high school named Classic Rock 93.7.

How is social media changing news?

The time in delivering news has shortened drastically. What would take hours or days takes only seconds to minutes.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Microsoft Suite, Weebly

Why did you become a journalist?

Telling a story comes from various perspectives. At the time I decided to be a journalist, a youth perspective was needed.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Yes, I was an editor. I wrote music reviews for alternative/grunge

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Fact check. Always.

Sweet tea
