Best Broker in Texas for Real Estate Investor
I just recently passed my agent's exam and am looking for a sponsoring broker. The thing is that I only intend to do this part-time, mostly for personal investing, and I'm trying the find the best broker (financially) for my needs. I just met with Keller Williams, which seems like a great fit for a full-time agent, but for me their monthly costs would render it a counter-productive partnership. Anyone have any suggestions? The key is minimal costs. I'm not concerned about paying more in commission.

A while ago, our team was working on a Rust project where std::sync::Mutex was everywhere. A team member suggested switching to parking_lot::Mutex instead. They heard that it has better performance, smaller memory footprint, and more predictable behavior under contention. I had no idea how to evaluate this claim. A quick search online returned results favoring parking_lot. This felt wrong to me. Why? It contradicted my belief that std should be the gold standard.
