Introduction Transition metal-catalysed cross-couplings have a great impact on the synthesis of complex organic compounds and have got wide utility in the pharmaceutical industry, natural product synthesis, and the development of functional materials [1]. Traditional cross-coupling reactions use moisture- and air-sensitive organometallic reagents which urge the need of stable, environmentally friendly, safe, and inexpensive reagents for the transition metal -reactions [[2], [3], [4]].
