Oil and gas trucks doing most damage to roads but not paying for it I agree voters should pass the tax increase funding road improvements. What really bothers me, though, is how did our roads deteriorate to this degree without CDOT or anyone else noticing? Clearly there are more cars on the road today, but passenger cars don't damage roads and road base. What does damage them is heavy trucks.
