NICEVILLE, Fla.- The Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers ran into a buzzsaw that was the #20 Gulf Coast State Commodores on Thursday, dropping an 87-59 decision in the FCSAA Quarterfinals to bring their 2025-2026 season to a close. It was a back and forth battle early on between the Bucs and Commodores as FSW got out to a 4-3 lead to begin the ballgame before four straight gave Gulf Coast their first lead of the game at 7-4.

FORT MYERS, Fla.- For the second straight game, the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers watched a good first half go for naught as after taking a lead into the locker rooms at half against the #25 Daytona State Falcons, the Bucs allowed 50 second half points and fell going away, 87-68 to end their chances at defending their Citrus Conference Championship.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- It was in like a lion, out like a lamb, for the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers on the road at #22 Daytona State Saturday afternoon in Daytona as FSW put up 24 first quarter points to get out to an early lead before managing just 31 the final 30 minutes in a 74-55 loss in the second battle in a week between the two to decide first place in the Citrus Conference standings.
