What was your first job as a journalist?
Freelance sports reporter at Mail Online.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It's a huge responsibility, as you have the opportunity to effectively alter public discourse.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter.
Who do you wish followed you?
The Independent's Jonathan Liew. He's out of this world.
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I've always been interested in writing and sport from a young age, and decided my dream career would be to combine the two!
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
We didn't have a high school newspaper unfortunately, but I was actively involved with Bournemouth Uni's publications.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
To work hard, be determined to succeed, and never stop trying to achieve your ambitions.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
In a coffee shop, attempting to make up for a lack of sleep!
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
The Guardian.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That all we write about is unsubstantiated rumours, when in fact that couldn't be further from the truth!
