It was weeks and weeks of "reports" that fluctuated between the Warriors side leaking they view him as a piece of their future and blah blah blah, and the Kuminga side threatening to accept the qualifying offer which would have been a disaster for the Warriors as a leverage play to get more money.

SOPA Images. Getty Images. For the most part, once Nico Harrison was shown the door and relieved of his duties of running the Mavs, we hadn't really heard much from him. That was probably for the best, because what could he really even say at that point? It's not like he could come out and put out a statement that would change how a single Mavs fan feels about him and what he did. So keeping to yourself and not putting yourself in the spotlight anymore was a decent idea.
