Cedric's relationship with his dad has always been estranged growing up; especially after the death of his younger brother during the great war. At the same time admiring him for his heroic bravery and service, but also resenting him for not always being the best father out there for him.

Around the year 2200 AD, Captain Gary Joseph Smith was sailing a ship called Escaliador, across the sea. Gary was raised his entire life by the sea, as his father and his mother were fishermen. He grew up in a small American seaport town located in northern Africa. As he grows up working for various shipping companies, Gary works his way up to becoming captain of his own ship over time.

After months of waiting for James Gunn and Peter Safran to announce their big plans for DC films, we finally have some confirmation on what to expect. While I'd love to say I'm overjoyed with his slate of upcoming projects for the newly dubbed DCU, I do have some thoughts, and opinions on the subject that I find most media outlets haven't talked about as much as they probably should.
