David Lee Roth remains ever the showman. The videos are not great. When David Lee Roth unexpectedly did some concerts in the summer of 2025, his first live shows in five years, certain classic rock corners of the internet blew up with fanshot clips of a 70-year-old guy in head-to-toe leather shimmying around the stage. His voice, never mistaken for the serious pipes of some of his hard-rock brethren, was dicey at best. The between-song banter was amusing at times, cringey at others.

Catholic school educators and administrators throughout Eastern Washington will be better able to support students with diverse learning needs thanks to a new partnership between Gonzaga University, the Catholic Diocese of Spokane and the Nazareth Guild. This fall marked the launch of a pilot program designed to equip teachers with practical tools and strategies to support students with special learning needs.

Ryan Grulich (’25, M.A. COML) chose Gonzaga for personal development, but it’s given him much more as he navigates creative and professional pursuits. When Ryan Grulich graduated in May 2025 from Gonzaga’s Communication and Leadership Studies master’s program, it was the culmination of five COVID-interrupted years in pursuit of a deeper understanding of Jesuit principles of communication.
