CIP2A is required for mitotic recruitment of the SLX1/XPF/MUS81 tri-nuclease complex to replication stress-induced DNA lesions to maintain genome integrity
Abstract Perturbed DNA replication can lead to incompletely replicated DNA when cells enter mitosis and can interfere with chromosome segregation. Cells therefore require mechanisms to resolve these lesions during mitosis. The CIP2A-TOPBP1 complex is described to function as a molecular tether that connects fragmented DNA molecules. However, whether CIP2A also functions in processing of incompletely replicated DNA remained unclear.

Necessity and Impact of Specialization of Large Foundation Model for Medical Segmentation Tasks
Abstract Background: Large foundation models, such as the Segment Anything Model (SAM), have shown remarkable performance in image segmentation tasks. However, the optimal approach to achieve true utility of these models for domain-specific applications, such as medical image segmentation, remains an open question. Recent studies have released a medical version of the foundation model MedSAM by training on vast medical data, who promised SOTA medical segmentation.
Understanding the heterogeneity of alloreactive natural killer cell function in kidney transplantation
Abstract Human Natural Killer (NK) cells are heterogeneous lymphocytes regulated by variegated arrays of germline-encoded activating and inhibitory receptors. They acquire the ability to detect polymorphic self-antigen via NKG2A/HLA-E or KIR/HLA-I ligand interactions through an education process.
An Efficient and Robust Method for Chest X-ray Rib Suppression That Improves Pulmonary Abnormality Diagnosis
Abstract : Background: Suppression of thoracic bone shadows on chest X-rays (CXRs) can improve the diagnosis of pulmonary disease. Previous approaches can be categorized as either unsupervised physical models or supervised deep learning models. Physical models can remove the entire ribcage and preserve the morphological lung details but are impractical due to the extremely long processing time.
