There are many ways to win $300,000. The catch is that most of them require you to risk a lot of your own money or to get incredibly lucky somewhere along the line. Sure, you could bet $100,000 on an underdog in Vegas. Or you could buy a winning lottery ticket. Most likely, though, neither one will ever happen for you or me.
