I'm Dana, I love music, and I love writing about it. In little more than a year, I've turned my passion for live music into a robust portfolio of artist interviews, album and show reviews, concert photography, and exclusive music premieres. As an anthropology graduate, I bring both a unique passion and perspective to music journalism, concerning myself with more than just the flashing lights and guitar riffs. Music matters because it is transcendent and universal; at the heart of my writing is a dedication to effectively and artfully communicating that which makes music such a deeply human experience.
