Sådan lyder det fra lektor Niels Bastian Kristensen fra Institut for Husdyr- og Veterinærvidenskab i en pressemeddelelse udgivet i forbindelse med offentliggørelsen af en ny rapport udgivet af Aarhus Universitet, som samler resultaterne af en undersøgelse af en lang række data fra malkekvægsbesætninger, som anvendte Bovaer i 2025.

Abstract IFNγ is considered the primary mediator of adaptive immunity to Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) infection. In mice, control of Mtb requires IFNγ. In humans, IFNγ is critical for resistance to infection with non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM), but its relative requirement for control of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is less clear. Here we block IFNγR1 signaling in macaques at different times following Mtb infection.

Regeringen og aftalepartierne bag Danmarks første dyrevelfærdsaftale har besluttet sig for, at søer skal kunne gå løse i farestaldene – bortset fra en kort periode omkring selve faringen, hvor risikoen for, at pattegrise klemmes, er størst. Samtidig stilles der krav til størrelsen på stien, hvor målet blandt andet er, at »soen kan udføre sin naturlige redebygningsadfærd«. Det oplyser Ministeriet for Fødevarer, Landbrug og Fiskeri.
