A recent letter contends that Trump is a “popular President.”  Well, we can quibble over “with whom,” but when you get down to numbers, there are problems. Yes, he carried all seven swing states – but by the narrow margin just sufficient to avoid a mandatory recall. He “won” the popular vote – by a half a percent. He didn’t even gain a majority; his vote tally of 49.7-percent is only a plurality. In no case was this a landslide – and it certainly did not amount to a mandate.

Dave McCormick’s newest campaign con about standing up for farmers is laughable. Just this year, he was caught lying to voters about being a farmer, yet he keeps pandering to rural communities across the Commonwealth. He’s a Wall Street millionaire from the Nutmeg State trying to pretend he stands for true Pennsylvanian values. He thinks he can buy our votes. Maybe that’s how things work on Wall Street, but not in Pennsylvania.

Along the lines of “what has Biden actually DONE,” I would point out that Kinetic has had a fleet of trucks out south of I-80 running what looks like fiber-optic cable. I live on a township road about a mile off State Route 68 and they ran it back to me. Speed jumped from 25 to 50 Meg overnight. Sweet. My understanding is that $10 million towards this came from the Infrastructure Act and local companies matched that amount.
