How is social media changing news?

It has increased the speed in which a story is broken and offers more connections to sources.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

After playing and coaching rugby, its great to be able to write about it and stay involved in the sport.

I prefer via email.

Why did you become a journalist?

I love writing about rugby. Through research I'm continually learning.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

No, writing became a passion later on in life.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Selecting my Lions XV for the Mail Online.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Try and write for a variety of websites and publications.

When's the best time to pitch you?

In the morning, any day of the week.
