I studied at the University of York, where I attained a first class Bachelor's in Politics, then went on to complete a Master's in Contemporary History and International Politics. Upon graudation, I was accepted on to an internship as a writer and Associate Editor with the Finance site MoneyJar, which led to my working as a features writer for The Overtake, before completing the NCTJ in Multimedia Journalism with News Associates. Since then I have worked as a freelance writer for numerous sites, alongside various roles in the public sector, and as a Markets Reporter in the City of London. I am currently based in the North of England working remotely as Deputy TV Editor with the Indiependent, and am looking for new roles in which I can build on this prior experience, whether remote, in-office, or hybrid-based.
