9 juli 2026 Afgelopen week vond in Almere de jaarlijkse Dag van de Ontwerpkracht plaats. RUIMTEVOLK was er op twee manieren bij: met de workshop Pionieren in Pampus en met twee projecten in de nieuwe Gids ‘Ontwerpen aan onze toekomst’ van Platform Ontwerp NL. Onze landschapsontwerper Daniel Barrero organiseerde samen met Young NVTL en Jong BNSP de workshop Pionieren in Pampus, met Judith Lekkerkerker en Ellen Lommen van de Gemeente Almere.

Abstract Eukaryotic chromosome segregation requires kinetochores, multi-megadalton protein machines that assemble on the centromeres of chromosomes and mediate attachments to dynamic spindle microtubules. Kinetochores are built from numerous complexes, and understanding how they are arranged is key to understanding how kinetochores perform their multiple functions. However, an integrated understanding of kinetochore architecture has not yet been established.
