AI can sing you the whole Bible as a sea shanty. But should Christians use it?
Thanks to the power of AI, you can now listen to the whole Bible sung in the style of a sea shanty, hard rock or a Gregorian chant. Her friends also shut off the irrigation system, closed windows and evacuated her daughter's pet rabbit.

He may be one of Britain’s most celebrated hymnwriters, but Isaac Watts misread scripture when he confused the promises God made to the children of Israel with those made to modern day nation states. It’s a conversation that’s never been more relevant, says Daniel Johnson As the author of classic hymns that include ‘When I survey the wondrous cross’ and ‘Joy to the world’, Isaac Watts is one of the most celebrated hymnwriters of all time.

The Tale of Our Planet's Survival in the Face of Unchecked Ambition
By the time you finish reading this sentence, approximately 25 acres of forest will have been lost. Let's digest this for a moment. With every tick of the clock, the earth's lungs are shrinking, yielding space to concrete jungles and industrial complexes. Yet, amidst the sounds of falling trees and roaring machines, there lies an undercurrent of silence. We’ve Sung ‘Amazing Grace’ for 250 Years. We’ve Only Just Begun.

It has been featured on The Simpsons, Cheers, and Star Trek, and it gave expression to America’s grief in the days and weeks after 9/11. It’s been covered by devoutly Christian artists, such as Johnny Cash and Aretha Franklin, but also by Willie Nelson, Ani DiFranco, and the Dropkick Murphys.

2022 Oscar Nominations Are Out, But Who Cares?
Last week, the 2022 Oscar Nominations were announced, but this reaction from actor / filmmaker Seth Rogen sums up how many people feel about it: “I don’t get why movie people care so much if other people care what awards we give ourselves, to me, maybe people just don’t care.
