Spokane, WASH. -- The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture welcomed families and history enthusiasts Wednesday evening to explore its newest exhibition, "Iron and Honor: The Art of Knighthood,". The exhibit features authentic medieval armor and artifacts that traveled from the Steebert Museum in Florence, Italy.

Spokane Valley, WASH. -- The city of Spokane Valley has been awarded nearly $21 million in federal funding to overhaul a major intersection that handles significant traffic volume in the region. The U.S. Department of Transportation granted the money to support the Sullivan Road and Trent Avenue interchange reconstruction project; a significant investment aimed at improving mobility and safety in the community.

SPOKANE, WASH. — Spokane Fire District 9 is warning of an especially high risk for wildfires across the Inland Northwest. The combination of high temperatures, minimal precipitation and strong winds has created dangerous fire conditions. Fire Chief Matt Vinci called on the community to take immediate action to prevent catastrophic fires. He emphasized that fireworks are illegal during fire season and urged residents to dispose of any leftover Fourth of July fireworks.
