The Texas Longhorns have been on a recruiting heater throughout the month of June, and now they are adding their 11th (!!!) commitment of the month. Three-star Humble (TX) Atascocita defensive tackle Jason Johnson closed out the official visit window with trips to Cal, LSU, and Texas. The Longhorns got the last word with the Atascocita big man and it was a productive trip, as things began to start trending towards the Longhorns shortly after.

The Texas Longhorns have been on an absolute recruiting heater this week and it extended into the weekend as the Longhorns have positioned themselves to make another run at a top-five recruiting class and took another step towards that goal on Saturday with the commitment of Garland Lakeview Centennial cornerback Montre Jackson over the Ole Miss Rebels, SMU Mustangs, and Texas Tech Red Raiders.
