Westsiders have a quicker route to the Bay Area. Celebrity-loved hop-on air carrier JSX is rolling out non-stop flights from Santa Monica (SMO) to Oakland (OAK) beginning Sept. 14. Available to book in advance now, fares start at $149 for a seat on the ATR 42-600 aircraft, which seats 30 passengers with business-class legroom. Two checked bags, in-flight cocktails and in-seat charging are also included.
