1 Background The American College of Radiology (ACR) Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LI-RADS) is a standardized system for liver imaging in patients at high risk for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) that is supported and endorsed by the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN), and is consistent with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines for HCC [1].
