AI is huge. World-changing, or so we are told. But it is also personal. If you’re reading this, probably you’ve tangled with a chattering AI model, and been impressed, amused, and bemused as the chatbot careens from insight to absurdity. It’s clear that true AI, “Artificial General Intelligence,” is still over the horizon, if only just.
