Israel Secretly Recruited Iranian Dissidents to Attack Their Country From Within
The Climate of Fear Has Reached Into Unexpected Places Have you ever written words that you thought might get you killed? Have you ever written words that you worry might get someone you love killed? That’s the reality that federal judges are facing across the nation. Our awful era of intimidation and political violence has come for them, and it …
Israelis Spying for Iran Are on the Uptick
Israel is experiencing an epidemic of espionage by its most dangerous enemy, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the spies—to the shock of many Israelis—are ordinary Israeli citizens, just like them: their neighbors from all walks of life. Their motives are mixed. Most seem to be in it for the money, others are driven by sex, and there is a measure of disaffection with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s leadership.

Renowned psychologist Arie Kruglanski and journalist Dan Raviv show how the Quest for Significance propels our actions, governs our feelings, and dominates our thoughts: pervasively affecting our happiness, pursuits, and relationships.
Whether Iron or Golden, Israel Ready to Assist U.S. in Developing a Dome
When President Donald Trump signed a flurry of executive orders on January 27 and titled one of them “The Iron Dome for America,” it was recognized as a nod to the power of Israel’s homegrown, highly successful rocket defense system, one that also reflected Trump’s penchant for symbols of military might.
The Mossad Is On A Mission To Recoup Prestige After October 7 Attack
As Israel battles back after the humiliation of the Hamas attack on October 7 of last year—with the highly destructive war in the Gaza Strip now metastasized into a war to the death against Hezbollah in Lebanon—the country’s intelligence services are working to remove the damning stain of failure.
Israel’s Chances of Getting Hostages Back Are Fading

Israel, Unable to Defeat Hamas, Uses Assassinations To Show Its Power
The morning after Israel carried out twin assassinations with pinpoint accuracy—in the capitals of two enemy countries—a surprising number of Israelis came out of their homes and handed out candies to passersby to celebrate the deaths of two implacable foes. This was a new phenomenon, imitating what many residents of Arab towns do when their enemies are killed. “We used to perceive ourselves as part of the Western world and its values,” columnist Alon Pinkas says.
It's Time for Netanyahu to Complete the Israel-Hamas Deal

But Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is simply not there yet.
The U.S. Defended Israel. Now Israel Must Listen to the U.S.
That was astoundingly unprecedented. American, British, French, and an assortment of Arab countries’ warplanes and air defenses teamed up with Israel to block Iran’s massive wave of missiles and drones. Now let’s recognize that Joe Biden deserves credit for his immediate follow-up. The President saved the world from coping with an awful war in the Middle East, by calling Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and twisting Israel’s arm so that it didn't immediately retaliate against Iran.

Column: Israel's Vow to 'Eliminate Hamas' Is Unrealistic
As Saturday morning dawned in the Middle East, an obvious expansion of Israeli air strikes and incursions into Gaza appeared hard to define. Was this the major invasion that’s been expected for three weeks? It was not, but Israel’s official spokespeople were seemingly being intentionally vague. They were not going to reveal anything to Hamas, and shutting down nearly all of Gaza’s phone and internet communications was aimed at sowing confusion.

Israeli Intelligence Ignored Clues That Hamas was Poised to Attack
It has been said that this attack on October 7 was Israel’s 9/11. Each was an almost inconceivable attack on a prosperous, high-tech nation—by enemies thought incapable of accomplishing such missions, who used hardly any technology at all—that changed history forever. Audacious. Inhuman. Unimaginable. But not, as it turned out, impossible.

Everything’s dark, and everyone’s angry. That’s the way it’s been since Saturday morning, when history repeated itself: Israel was again taken by surprise by its enemies, just like exactly 50 years ago on Yom Kippur. In the three weeks of that war, the IDF sustained terrible losses—more than 2,600 dead—but reversed the initial setbacks and defeated the Egyptian and Syrian attackers.

The Israeli Military is Defying Prime Minister Netanyahu's Efforts to Tame the Courts

Automated Machine Learning using GPT-4
Machine learning (ML) can be fun - the process of transforming data into a model that can make predictions about brand new data can feel like magic, and by extension makes data scientists sorcerers who are able to implant mini-brains inside the computer. Traditionally this was also no easy task, requiring deep knowledge of math, advanced and novel ML modeling techniques and presumably also a creative mindset. It's no fluke that data scientists are some of the highest paying roles in the industry.
