What's your favorite social network?
LinkedIn has been a godsend as a new writer. Besides helping me find work, LinkedIn has helped me connect with and learn from other writers. Plus, I’m always finding new material across a range of fields that spark my interest and keep me informed.
Who do you wish followed you?
All that comes to mind is anyone who might benefit from reading my work, which is for them to decide. And it's okay if they change their mind—unfollowing is okay, too.
Why did you become a journalist?
It’s been a second career, but my first answer to “What do you wanna be when you grow up?” I’ve always loved asking questions. And I find most things—and all people—incredibly interesting.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I’m most likely in the kitchen doing meal prep or cleanup while talking with one of my kids.
