Dara Goldberg’s Biography

After spending 20 years in the management consulting field, as one of three Founding Partners of a consulting firm where I helped businesses - in all different industries, of all different sizes - with strategic planning, initiatives development, reorganizations, recovery planning and other organizational challenges, in 2012, I decided it was time to make an exciting shift to an exclusive focus on helping people within those organizations - individuals and teams alike, in all different positions, at all levels of seniority - become what I refer to as 'the best version of themselves' , namely, great leaders with thought patterns that ensure they perform, lead and thrive to their absolute maximum potential and benefit their company in turn.

I founded Leadership Mindsets Consulting based upon my firm belief and further backed by formal research that confirms that, above and beyond our skills, knowledge and intuition, it is our mindsets that make all the difference – at work and in every aspect of our lives. If we don't directly focus on and tend to our mindsets, we - individuals, teams and entire companies - will not perform and succeed to our fullest potential in a relationship-driven social world.

Through Leadership Mindsets Consulting, I combine my business background and understanding of what it takes for businesses to succeed, with my knowledge of human behavior and what it takes for individuals and teams to address the challenges that prevent them from exceling to their maximum potential. Barriers include but are not limited to extreme stress, lack of confidence, treating fears and 'worry thoughts' as guaranteed outcomes, low emotional agility, not challenging biases nor distinguishing facts from assumptions, defaulting to judgment rather than curiosity, possessing a fixed rather than a growth mindset and a 'we' mentality, among others.

Using the mindsets-based approach and the Find The Choices Model I have developed, I help individuals and teams identify, cultivate and put into practice healthy mindsets and, at the same time, do away with those that don't serve them well.

You can find my articles on an array of leadership-focused topics on my Mindsets blog, and on online media outlets, including SAP's D!gitalist Magazine, WorqIQ, Switch & Shift, HuffPost, Thrive Global, Forbes, The Muse and Ellevate Network. I am also happy to share upon request links to my most recent webinars, 'Essential Mindsets of the High Performing Team (for Ellevate Network) and 'What If We Were All Great Designers of Our Own Mind?' (for the Disruptive Innovation Festival - the DIF).
