What was your first job as a journalist?

I am not a journalist in the formal sense. I write my own & am also hired by others to write articles on leadership, work culture, teams, etc

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Figure out WHO, not just WHAT you aim to be. Choose the values & thought patterns you let drive your thinking & writing, & you will thrive.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Anytime! I love wrestling with ideas, proposing how best to frame them and writing, writing and more writing.

What's your favorite drink?

Water, first and foremost, and then a Bluecoat (gin) with Fever Tree (tonic) and definitely don't forget the lime.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Hanging with the family, at the dog park (with our dog), gardening or running through the really cool neighborhoods of Philadelphia.
