Have you ever used a typewriter?
I've used a typewriter, back in the day, before my time broadcast journalism.
Why did you become a journalist?
I've aspired to be a journalist since high school when I worked in radio. I love meeting people and sharing their stories.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
It's been gratifying to write about PR, healthcare, equity and bringing awareness to communities.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
My advice to aspiring journalists is to have at least one internship with a press/media outlet, get story a lot of writing experience.
