Tight ends are one of the toughest positions to nail down. Especially in recent years, there's been a flattening of the curve. Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and T.J. Hockenson are no longer atop the rankings. An influx of young talent has hit the market: Brock Bowers, Trey McBride, Sam LaPorta, Tucker Kraft, and Dalton Kincaid. New rookies are poised to make immediate impacts: Tyler Warren, Colston Loveland, and maybe even Mason Taylor, Terrance Ferguson, Elijah Arroyo, and Oronde Gadsden II.

Last week, I published my running back rankings, examining where I diverged from consensus opinions. Today, we'll do the same with wide receivers. While the wisdom of the crowds is a valuable tool, examining one staffer's thought process can help you gain a deeper understanding of how we arrive at these assumptions. Next to each receiver's name, I'll share where my ranking compares to our ADP. Where there is a sizable gap, I will provide some additional thoughts and context.

Almost a decade ago, NPR posted a few pictures and a simple question. And the results were pretty astonishing. Over 17,000 people responded. And while the provided answers were all over the place, the average weight guessed was 1,287 pounds, within five percent of Penelope's (the cow) actual weight of 1,355 pounds. This was a simple demonstration of the power of aggregated knowledge from a large sample. The value from the wisdom of a crowd cannot be understated.
