YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – There’s a buzz about Y-Live. The show has moved again. It’s back to the YSU campus. The stage is set. The speakers have been raised into position. Y-Live is ready to rock again. “We’re going to break our attendance record that we set last year, because it’s the second time we’ve done a two-day event, and it’s great. We’re happy to be back home,” said Jordan Ryan, with JAC Management. Stambaugh Stadium hosted the original Y-Live in 2017 until it moved to Wean Park in 2022.

Many are still on waiting lists to get help with trees and roofs, and are waiting for the power to be restored. Paul Gavin, of Canfield, held onto a pipe for dear life during Sunday’s tornado — away from his family. “They went down to the basement. I just sat in there, hung on to that pipe,” Gavin said.

Most customers’ power has been restored following Sunday’s storm, but there are still some who are waiting. About 3,896 in Mahoning County, mostly in Boardman, and about 26 in Trumbull County.
