We’re in between Monster Energy AMA Supercross, which ended in Salt Lake City, Utah, last Saturday night, and the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, which begins next Saturday at Fox Raceway at Pala in Southern California. It’s a quick turnaround, so it’s not exactly an off weekend for the riders and teams. Jason Thomas will have more on that below.

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb claimed his third 450SX title, cementing his place among the sport’s all-time greats.

Welcome to Racerhead, coming to you on the eve of the final round of the 2025 Monster Energy Supercross Championship. Two riders—Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb and Red Bull KTM’s Chase Sexton—will settle this title fight tomorrow night. If Webb maintains his lead (he’s nine points ahead), he will win his third 450SX Championship, which will put him in some very rare air.
