Meat-free restaurant plans to bring ‘health and happiness’ to city centre eating A new restaurant championing healthy eating and a sustainable planet has opened on Gradwell Street. Hume has opened on the bustling city centre street, putting its goal of bringing ‘health and happiness’ to Liverpool at the forefront. Owner Allan Eves set up the restaurant both to champion the benefits of healthy eating for us and the planet, and also in tribute to his late mum who passed away from cancer last year.

Stockport’s free all-day festival celebrating town’s independent scene This summer Stock Party returns to Stockport for another celebration of the town’s thriving independent scene. Taking place on Saturday 7 June, the free, all-day street festival supported by Totally Stockport will once again bring together some of the North West’s most exciting food, drink, music, and creative talent across Stockport Underbank, Robinsons Brewery Yard, and Stockport Market Place.
