Freelance journalist based in the American Midwest with experience across North America, China and Taiwan. Graduated from Tsinghua University's Global Business Journalism in July 2022 — Tsinghua is ranked 16th globally (2022) and Asia's top university. I've written over 80 bylined articles.

I'm passionate about research and storytelling, with experience covering politics, education, LGBTQ+, finances, economics and other news topics.

My undergraduate degree is in International Business at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. I've also studied in Shanghai & Taipei and have earned an intermediate proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
