Jackson Prep grad Trey Bridges played at Trustmark Park with Grambling State this season. He made his pro debut last week at the same stadium, right near home, but for the visiting Evansville Otters. Now, he's been traded to the Mississippi Mud Monsters in the other dugout. Bridges says teammate Brayland Skinner, who he looked up to when he played at Mississippi State, advocated for the Mud Monsters to trade for him.
