What was your first job as a journalist?

I worked as an associate editor at The Wave, a free bi-weekly arts and entertainment publication in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I dont' have a favorite.

Who do you wish followed you?

No one.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Nope. I was trying hard to become a rock star.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That everyone takes comped press trips. Not so. Not at all.
