Have you ever used a typewriter?
I have, in the distant past of the nineteen nineties.
How is social media changing news?
Social media has created more opportunities for the whole world to be more informed, and misinformed, than ever before.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Eddie Brock, so much better than that Parker kid.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Primarily, my brain. After that, a keyboard. Then Photoshop when I'm feeling fancy.
Who do you wish followed you?
No one. The lead singer of Bowling For Soup already follows me, what more could I want?
Why did you become a journalist?
Following the world of video games is my greatest passion, talking and writing about them is just what I do.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I'm always happy to review and promote Irish-made games, supporting local creators is important for us all.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Being one myself, I doubt I could offer much.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Three feet to the right, in front of the TV.
