David Obelcz has been a journalist for over 20 years, in a number of positions. Obelcz started as a travel writer for Outdoor Places, a digital magazine founded in 1999. During his five year tenure, he advanced to the role of partner and EIC. At its peak, Outdoor Places was the number two digital magazine for outdoor travel in North America, and Obelcz was syndicated, appearing on the pages of more than 20 websites and magazines.
