Bevin going hard after the legislature on tax reform. Seems a bit aggressive to me to take a legislative body to task in the #SOTS2018
Bevin cont.: There will be a bond dollars for deferred maintenance at public college campuses. Unis will "partner" with the state on that money. Bevin claims there is $6B in deferred maintenance needs in state.
In #SOTS2018 address, Gov. Matt Bevin said his proposed budget will need to be cut by 6.25 percent (with some exceptions) and 70 state programs will get no money. Presumably, that applies to higher ed. Granted, Bevin and co. have been high on skills/technical training.
