David Singleton’s Biography

The Honorable David A. Singleton was born in raised in Maplewood, Minnesota. In 2017 when he was appointed by the Maplewood City Council 2017 to the Police Use of Force Advisory Board.

David A. Singleton was elected the Vice-Chair serving under the chairman. While serving in a Vice-Chair capacity, David helped provide strong leadership and offered a diverse perspective that was beneficial in providing substantial advice and counsel to the city council of Maplewood, Minnesota.

Through this experience, David A. Singleton developed a passion for serving the city of Maplewood, MN. David considers himself a lifelong learner and continues to expand his education. He is currently attending The Law Enforcement program at Century College. The program is primarily designed to meet the professional and educational needs of students interested in becoming licensed peace officers.
