LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — We have got a wintry mess in Mid-Michigan Wednesday morning. We’ll likely begin as snow and then transition to a mix of rain and snow or possibly even all rain by morning. North of I-96 may remain mostly snow, while south of I-96 likely sees plain rain. While the warmer air will likely affect accumulations, there should still be enough to create some slippery travel. We expect a total of 2 to 4 inches along I-96. North of 96, we will likely end up with 4 or 5 inches.
